Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Munoz Automations LLC ("Munoz Automations," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. Munoz Automations LLC is a Texas limited liability company operating in Houston, Texas. Questions about this policy can go to anthony@munozautomations.com.

Text messaging and your consent

This is the section that matters most if you have given us your phone number, so it comes first.

We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number or your SMS messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes of any kind.

Limited sharing with subcontractors who provide support services on our behalf, such as customer service, message delivery, or scheduling, is permitted strictly so those services can function. Those providers may not use your information for their own marketing. All other categories of use exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and that information is never shared with any third party.

How you opt in

We only send text messages to people who have given us permission. Permission is given in one of these ways:

You contact us first. If you call, text, or submit a form and leave your phone number, we may reply by text about your inquiry. Calling a business and leaving a number is treated as consent to a reply about that same inquiry, and nothing else.
You check the box on our contact form. The SMS consent checkbox on our website is never pre-checked and is never required. You can submit the form and hear back from us by email without opting in to text messages.
You tell us verbally. During a call or a meeting, you can ask us to follow up by text. We note it in our records.

Message types, frequency, and cost

What we send: replies to your inquiry, appointment and call scheduling, follow-up about a project or quote, and account or service updates.
Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier, not us, sets those rates.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop messages or get help

Reply STOP to any text from us and we stop texting that number. You will get one confirmation message, then nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or email anthony@munozautomations.com and we will remove you manually. There is no cost to opt out, and opting out of texts does not affect any other service we provide you.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to talk to you and do the work. That means:

Information you give us: your name, business name, phone number, email address, and whatever you write in a form or message to us.
Consent records: when and how you gave permission to be contacted by text, and any request to stop.
Project information: for clients, the details of your operations and the tools you use, so we can build the automation you hired us for.
Basic technical information: our website is a static page and does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Cookies

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. We do not sell browsing data. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file. We do not send Google any information about you.

How we use your information

To reply to you and answer your questions.
To schedule and hold calls or meetings.
To deliver, support, and maintain the automations we build for you.
To send invoices and handle payment.
To keep records that show we had permission to contact you.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not feed your personal information or your customers' personal information into third-party AI training.

When we disclose information

We disclose information only in these situations:

Service providers. Vendors that run parts of our operation, such as website hosting, email, message delivery, scheduling, and accounting. They get only what they need and may not use it for their own purposes. As stated above, SMS consent data is excluded from any sharing beyond delivering the message itself.
Legal requirement. When we are required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. This policy would continue to apply.

We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep information

Consent and opt-out records: at least four years. Federal law under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act carries a four-year statute of limitations, so we retain proof of consent and proof of any opt-out request for no less than four years after the record is created. Keeping these records protects both of us.
Client records: for the length of our working relationship, then as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
Inquiries that do not become projects: removed on request, and otherwise cleaned out periodically once the conversation is clearly over.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time. If a consent or opt-out record must be kept for the retention period above, we will tell you and keep only that record.

How we protect information

Accounts that hold your information use strong, unique passwords and multi-factor authentication. Access is limited to Anthony Munoz, who is the only person operating this business. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously and keep the number of places your information lives as small as possible.

Your choices

Ask what information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct it.
Ask us to delete it, subject to the retention rules above.
Stop text messages by replying STOP.
Stop emails by telling us, or by using the unsubscribe link where one is present.

Email anthony@munozautomations.com for any of these and we will handle it. Texas has no general consumer data-access statute that applies to a business our size, but we honor these requests regardless of where you live.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging consent will be described here.
